HOW TO GET TO KUKS?Motorway E67 (Prague - Warsaw),
Exit in Jaroměř (direction Trutnov).
Paying car park in Kuks (car 50 CZK; bus 130 CZK) -
ca. 25 minutes walk through the Baroque village of Kuks to Hospital.
OPENING TIMESApril, October (weekends): 9am – 5pm
May, June, September (daily except Mon): 9am – 5pm
July, August (daily): 9am – 5pm
At other times by appointment (at least 10 people).
In season, minimum number of tour participants is 5.
Admission PricesCrypt: full 30 CZK, reduced 20 CZK, family 90 CZK*
Czech Pharmaceutical Museum: full 40 CZK, reduced 30 CZK, family 130 CZK*
Braun’s Nativity: free
*full admision - adults; reduced admission - children 6+, students, seniors; family admission - 2 adults + 3 children
All tours (except Braun’s Nativity) are guided. Foreign visitors may either join a Czech group and get for free a foreign language text (GB, D, F, NL, E, I, PL, H, RU), or book a foreign language tour (see below for details).
Foreign Language TourSTours in foreign language (GB, D, PL) are available for groups in Hospital and Crypt and must be booked in advance. There is an additional charge of 100%.
Previous reservation of guided tours for groups is recommended; it can be made by e-mail or mail to NKP Hospital Kuks, 544 43, Kuks, the Czech Rep. Reservation is free of charge.

OTHER SIGHTS IN THE REGIONAfter visiting Hospital you can discover other state monuments of the region. These are the Renaissance "Italian" chateau Opočno, the Romantic "English" chateau Hrádek u Nechanic, the Empire "Napoleonic" chateau Ratibořice and the Renaissance castle Náchod with two bears living in the castle moat.
