Opening hours
Hospital Kuks is open for the visit interiors from April to October. You can choose from four guided tours. It is possible to book tour with guide in english, german or polish language for at least ten persons in advance. If you won't book your tour in advance, you can visit any of our tours with guide (in czech language) and text in your native language.

In the basic tour you will learn about the history and constructional development of the hospital, you will learn everything important about the personality of Count Franz Anton von Sporck and about the original purpose of the whole complex - the hospitable activity of the Merciful Brothers.

The exposition of the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum called “The Magic of Apathy” presents the development of pharmacies from the Baroque to the 20th century and other areas of pharmacy such as research, education or military pharmacy.

The only non-guided exhibiton of the Czech Pharmaceutical Museum called “From the apathy to the factory” on the ground floor of the hospital shows the production of medicinal products from the pharmacy to industrial production in factories.
